Quirky Bean 'Meet the Blogger' Spotlight! April of 'Book Hoarder Mom'

This week's blogger is April Kirkland of 'Book Hoarder Mom'! April is a a 24 yr old stay at home wife and mother. She loves to write poetry , read , paint , and anything else creative! April's favourite past time besides reading and blogging is doing crafts with her daughter.

Describe yourself in 5 words - bookworm, creative, passionate, interesting, inquisitive

Why did you begin blogging? - I began blogging because I found a read to review booksite. I was already reading constantly so I figured what better way to express what I feel about the books I read, than start a book review blog.Plus I was able to sign up to receive books in exchange for putting them on my blog. How cool is that!

What is your all-time absolute favourite food? - My favorite food would have to be pasta. I could eat pasta everyday! Especially if it had salad to go with it. :o)

If you had $1000 to spend on anything in the world, what would you spend it on? $1000 , well the mom in me would say spend it on the things my family needs. But if it were purely splurge money I would have to say clothes, books , and makeup. LOL ;)

What was the last book you read? The last book I read was Unwelcome by Michael Griffo. It' s a paranormal romance novel. I am currently reading the third book in the series Unafraid

If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional. with whom would it be?  If I could trade places with someone for a week it would have to be Cleo from the tv show H20. I would get to be a mermaid and swim around in the ocean with the dolphins!

If your life could have a theme song, what would it be and why? My theme song would be Hands by Jewel. I think it captures how I feel perfectly, even when things may not be the way I think they should be

  2. btw have you noticed you can tell when you interview someone who's American because we use the american version "favorite" instead of the UK favored "favourite" I thought that was cool but ok I'm a dork and need sleep LOL

    1. I noticed that too :p I had to refrain from changing it, we spell it 'favourite' in Australia too, and 'mum' instead of 'mom'. I love that you are as dorky as I am :o)
